Size Limitations: Height, 14' on designated rural interstates, some exceptions; Width, 8'6"; Trailer length, 53'; Motorhome length, 45'; Combined length, 80'. Triple towing allowed with certain qualifications and not to exceed maximum combined length of 75'.
Required Equipment: Safety chain, breakaway switch, fire extinguisher in RV, flares or reflective signs, brakes required on trailers over 3,000 pounds gross weight.
Riding is permitted in pickup camper and riding is permitted in fifth wheel with audible or visual device with tow vehicle and safety glass. Overnight parking in state rest areas is "as posted" with a three hour limit.
