RV Road Laws - 2011

Size Limitations: Height, 4.2m; Width, 2.6m; Trailer length, not stated but combined length not to exceed 23m, ball hitch okay on fifth wheel only; Motorhome length, 12.5m; Combined length, 24; Triple towing is not allowed.

Required Equipment: Safety chain, breakaway switch, flares or reflective signs, brakes required on trailers over 1,360kg. Headlights or daytime running lights required at all times.

Passenger riding is fifth wheel, pickup camper or travel trailer is not permitted. .Overnight parking in rest areas is as posted.
