Required Equipment: Safety chain (two safety chains or breakaway switch required on trailers), breakaway switch (required if gross weight is more than 1350 kgs), fire extinguisher in RV only if required by CSA at time of manufacture. Brakes required on trailer with unladen weight of 910kg or if trailer exceeds 50% of tow-vehicle weight.
Triple towing with certain qualifications. Only with fifth wheel in Canada or tandem axle in Alberta, total maximum length of 23m. Riding is not permitted in truck camper, fifth wheel or travel trailer. Overnight parking in province rest areas is as posted .
