    RV Road Laws - 2011

    Size limitations: Height, 13'6"; Width, 8' (8'6" on certain federal road systems); Trailer Length, 40'; Motorhome length, 45'; Combined length, 65'. Triple towing is allowed with fifth wheels only.

    Class D license for motorhomes up to 26,000 pounds. Class G license for motorhomes over 26,000 pounds

    Required Equipment: Breakaway switch required on trailers over 3,000 pounds and brakes required on gross weight vehicles of 3,000 pounds.

    Passengers are allowed to ride in fifth wheel, travel trailer and pickup camper. Overnight parking is permitted but prohibited where posted.
